This course is an excellent introduction to the Armenian language, it is designed for the youngest preschoolers. The training is conducted in an intermediary language familiar to the child. After completing the course, the child will be able to continue studying with Armenian-speaking children.

A brief description. The online course is designed for kids aged 4 to 6 years old who do not speak or understand the Armenian language. The basis of the lesson is a game. This is the only way a child at this age can learn effectively.

Level: from preschool age.

Course format: group, maximum 4 participants.

Requirements: knowledge of the intermediary language.

Class duration: 45 minutes, 2 times a week.

We often tell our children: “You are Armenian.” And what does it mean to be Armenian? Is being an Armenian an honor and happiness, or only pain and suffering? Every young Armenian should seek and find the answer to this question. And for this, first of all, you need to know and understand the Armenians and Armenia.

To this end, we have prepared a course that presents the most interesting pages of Armenia and Armenians, our language, literature, culture and history. We will travel together to the historical and cultural places of Armenia, read wonderful works of Armenian literature, study the peculiarities of our language, discuss today's problems and challenges facing our country and nation, together we will look for ways to solve them, learn how to search, distinguish and disseminate accurate information about Armenia, get acquainted with today's residents of Armenia and their lives, as well as with the achievements of Armenian sports, cinema and music, and, finally, we will consider today's prospects for studying, working and living in Armenia.

We are sure that by the end of this course, your child will proudly say: “I am Armenian."

Classes are held: 2 times a week for 1 hour.

The course is designed for participants with certain qualifications. During the course, the participant will have the opportunity to work more fully and prepare for the competition. The chess base of the participants will be formed in the course. Simultaneous games with the teacher will accompany the specified course. After passing these stages, the student will form an understanding of chess and, by regularly participating in competitions, the acquired knowledge will expand even more. The courses will be held with chess stories.

The course is designed for beginners who want to learn chess from level 0: During the course, the child will study chess elements from level 0 to the mat announcement. After mastering all the chess moves, they will begin to develop chess tactics, calculation, and understanding of chess: Chess classes will be accompanied by group tournaments: The courses will be held with chess stories.

This course teaches Armenian history. But at its core, it teaches so much more than that. It presents us with the truth of who we are and where we came from. What does it mean to be Armenian in the modern world and what it takes to stay Armenian.

The course is a kind of journey through time and space, the purpose of which is the discovery and self-knowledge of Armenia, the land of secrets.

Traveling through the regions of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh, we will study their colors, songs, art, and language, get acquainted with a variety of historical characters who lived long before us, communicate with them, and try to uncover their secrets left to us. The journey is aimed at getting to know yourself better, to love and appreciate yourself. Brief description: during the course, children will enrich their vocabulary, get acquainted with the most important events of Armenian history, discover Armenian art, they will get acquainted with their peers, take part in educational games, debates, and group work, get acquainted with nature, geography, sights of Armenia, life and everyday life of people.

The new program of the M.A. M. educational movement is aimed precisely at the development of this important mental process.

The purpose of the program is to stimulate the development of creative thinking of children, to promote the formation of the flexibility of behavior and the ability to find ways out of difficult situations.

To achieve this goal, we chose fairy-tale therapy as a method. During the meetings, we will work with both folk and specially selected authors' fairy tales that will help children see parallels between kind, strong, resourceful, creative, and persistent fairy tale characters and themselves.

Besides reading and discussing fairy tales, the program also includes games and exercises that stimulate the development of imagination and art therapy techniques.

The accelerated course "Armenian for beginners"  part 2 is explicitly designed for foreigners and Armenians whose primary language is not Armenian. The course includes topics relevant for adaptation in the country, which will be helpful in everyday life and work, as well as expand the educational horizons and penetration into the Armenian environment and national culture.

Any material is explained in an accessible form in the form of colorful understandable diagrams, illustrations, and analogies in the native language.

It all starts with the production of sounds because the phonetics in the Armenian language is different from others. Therefore, much attention is paid to stress and intonation when studying the Armenian language. We will help you learn and apply the basic grammatical constructions, words, and expressions necessary for communication.

It is not easy to learn the Armenian language, but if you approach the matter creatively, and choose the proper methodology, then any material will be accessible.

Methodology

At the initial stage of learning, a natural or emotional-semantic method is mainly used, according to which language learning should begin with understanding the meaning, not the form. It is proposed to learn a foreign language naturally, just as children learn to speak their native language.

At the first stage of the initial training cycle, the student is allowed to listen to the speech of a native speaker until he begins to gradually grasp the general meaning of what he has heard, progressively overcoming his fear of a foreign language.

At the end of the first cycle, when the Armenian speech no longer seems gibberish, the listener can not just study the language but spend an hour of class communicating in Armenian. Thus, the language barrier overcomes, and speech initiative arises – the main factor of foreign language proficiency.

At the end of the first cycle, which lasts about 2-3 months, listeners can already speak Armenian, read small texts, and watch short videos on the Internet.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the First level of the course, participants will be able to

• read and understand simple sentences, in particular, in ads, on posters, in restaurant menus, on shop windows, and understand the basic information of a minor, adapted text.

• understand the basic information (topic, main content, and communicative intentions) of short dialogues and monologues in everyday communication situations;

• be able to maintain a conversation about yourself, friends, family, working day, and free time.

• The volume of vocabulary will be up to 3,000 words.

In addition to the main classroom hours, students devote no more than 30 minutes to extracurricular (independent) work to prepare for lessons.
